NETWORKING
  [Cabling]
The importance of cabling should not be overlooked or undervalued. Cabling ties everything together and is the lifeline of the entire information network.

Cabling comes in several varieties including coax, twisted pair and fibre.

[Coax Cable]
Coax, along with twisted pair, is a common type of cabling for small networks. It is cheap and has the benefit of not requiring a hub and can be used to connect a large number of computers together in a single 'string'. Coax was the first standard cabling type and is not as flexible, or cannot support high-speed technologies, like the newer cabling standards.

[Twisted Pair Cabling]
Twisted pair cabling is the newer standard of cabling. It's low cost, ability to make easy additions and changes to the network and built in path for high-speed technologies such as fast ethernet make it more advantageous and flexible than older standards of cabling.

[Fibre]
Fibre can be used over greater distances than copper cables as the signal does not lose strength the further down the wire it travels. It is also light-weight making it ideal for applications where running copper wire would be impractical. Also by using multiplexers, the ability to send more than one signal down the wire at a time, one piece of fibre could replace hundreds of copper cables. Another major benefit is it's immunity to Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) and therefore can be used where electrical isolation is needed.

Complete local area network installation and configuration.

We offer a broad range of wireless network solutions for corporate, small business, and home office clients.

Wireless networks are generally more cost effective than traditional local area networks. The primary reason is that the installation cost of a traditional local area network (i.e. laying wires through walls or along baseboards, installing outlets, etc.) far exceed the slighly higher cost of the wireless networking equipment.
An additional benefit of a wireless network is the easy with which additional users are added to the network. The process amounts to little more than the installation of a wireless network card in the new user's computer. Recently, many computer manufacturers, such as Dell, have begun including wireless network cards in their retail computer offerings.
